Porsche 911 GT3 Manthey Kit: The Ultimate Track-Day Evolution

Porsche 911 GT3 Manthey Kit: The Ultimate Track-Day Evolution

The track serves as the design purpose for particular automobile models. The Porsche 911 GT3 exists exclusively for track purposes. The Manthey Kit converts the Porsche GT3 into a racing vehicle which provides drivers who excel at racing events with track-ready performance. The new kit surpasses the Weissach Package by providing complete motorsport-grade aerodynamics and chassis tuning and brake optimization which stem from Nürburgring development work.

Co-developed between Porsche’s Weissach Development Center and Manthey Racing’s engineers in Meuspath, this is the most serious factory-supported upgrade you can buy for a road-legal GT3. The result? A GT3 that laps the Nordschleife in 6:52.981 — nearly 2.8 seconds faster than the previous Manthey-equipped model despite less-than-ideal conditions.

This isn’t an accessory package. It’s a performance doctrine.

Track-Tuned Aerodynamics: Up to 540 kg of Downforce

The 992.2 GT3 already produces serious downforce, but Manthey pushes it into true motorsport territory.

Key aero highlights:

  • Fully redesigned, continuous underbody for maximum airflow efficiency
  • Extended turning vanes growing from 0.5 m to 1.5 m, generating significantly more downforce
  • Covered luggage compartment floor creating a seamless aerodynamic surface
  • Front lip extended 12 mm for improved front-end pressure
  • New front diffuser fins and side flaps increasing stability and steering response
  • Wider swan-neck rear wing with a Gurney flap and larger, inward-curved endplates
  • Rear diffuser with longer fins for more downforce without added drag
  • Carbon-fiber aerodiscs reducing turbulence at the rear wheels

Downforce numbers:

  • 355 kg at 285 km/h in Road Mode
  • 540 kg at 285 km/h in Circuit Mode (track-only)

The key achievement: dramatically more downforce with no penalty in drag. Efficiency at the highest level.

Four-Way Adjustable Coilovers & Dialed Track Handling

Porsche and Manthey developed a bespoke four-way coilover suspension, fully adjustable without tools.

Suspension upgrades include:

  • Four-way damping adjustability
  • Increased spring rates (10% higher front rate than previous Manthey model)
  • Optimized to match the expanded aero load
  • Sharper stability over kerbs
  • More mechanical grip across long stints

Optional lightweight forged wheels (20/21-inch) cut unsprung mass by 6 kg and are available in Brilliant Silver, Neodyme, or Black.
Braided steel brake lines come standard for consistent pressure, with optional PCCB racing pads for maximum stopping power.

This setup is built to carry the enormous downforce loads the aero now produces — without overwhelming the driver.

Lap Time: Proven, Certified, Dominant

Under DTM champion Ayhancan Güven, the Manthey GT3 clocked 6:52.981 around the 20.8 km Nordschleife.
That’s 2.76 seconds faster than the previous-gen Manthey GT3 — and the track was still damp in many sections.

Güven’s words say it all:
“The significantly higher downforce and the optimised suspension make the car very easy to control and provide the driver with even more confidence.”

Manthey claims they’ll return in better weather to show the car’s full potential. Meaning: there’s more speed still on the table.

Custom Accessories for the Hardcore Enthusiast

Porsche provides additional Manthey identity elements to drivers who want complete Manthey styling.

  • Carbon door sills with illuminated Manthey lettering
  • Door projector lights
  • Carbon fiber air outlets and rear intakes
  • Optional colored carbon aerodiscs
  • Tow straps in red, black, or yellow (track use)
  • Manthey side graphics

Everything is functional, aggressive, and motorsport-inspired.

HypeGeek’s Take

The GT3 functions as the fundamental element of track-day culture because it provides balanced performance with its ability to handle and its speed-optimized design. The Manthey Kit operates at a level that surpasses all other options. Porsche provides drivers with a factory-backed system to achieve race-car aerodynamics and grip and confidence through their warranty-protected program.

The engineers at Porsche would have created this exact GT3 if they had no restrictions from rules or budgets or street-car requirements.
The GT3 represents the most advanced version of one of the world's top driver-oriented vehicles which drivers can obtain.
